About Nova MFR
Welcome!
My name is Tara Ellen and I specialize in subtle energy-based therapies to ease tension, calm the nervous system, restore energy, and create balance. I practice gentle forms of connective tissue therapies to help enhance fluid movement and release restrictions around nerve-sensitive structures, as well as visceral & neural support.
Energy in the Tissue
Although other forceful approaches can be effective to address tension, the work I choose to practice is about listening to the energy and allowing it to change the tissue in the body. Only in this place of trust can we shift into a state of ease. If nerves and viscera are experiencing tension, the last thing they want is MORE pressure. In actuality, the body is expressing the need for MORE space! To achieve this, I use gentle techniques to work slowly around these areas to help soften and lengthen the fascia. This is how we achieve TRUE release!
Healing Support
My goal is to support your overall well-being. I listen to what you tell me: your goals, concerns and questions. But I also listen to the tissue, which I refer to as "the fascial voice".
